Cody was born in St. Ignatius, MT and grew up all over the Midwest. He graduated from high school in Sturgis, SD and received his BFA in Advertising Design from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD.

Cody moved to Minneapolis after a short (homeless) stint in Chicago and has been working there as a designer, art-director, actor, director, editor, and general rabblerouser since July of 2002.

Cody likes everything but willful ignorance and offal. Top of his list for things to do is carousing, traveling, writing, and being "creative". (i.e., making shit up for a living.)
